Our Pastor
Steve Mayo and his wife, Sue, have been at Calvary Baptist since March 2015.
Originally from Michigan in the United States, the Mayos migrated to Australia with their four children in 1997. They serve with a church planting organisation, ABWE.
Prior to accepting the call to Calvary, Steve and Sue planted two churches in Sydney. In addition to pastoring, Steve lectures at Bible colleges.
The Mayos enjoy musical theatre, dolphin watching, and chasing after their 21 grandchildren.
Our Pastoral Intern
Jasper Dex and Lizza Digno are from Iloilo City, Philippines. They are both experienced in church and outreach work, including evangelism, music, deaf, teaching and sports ministry.
Dex has experience in cross-cultural missions and is currently a pastoral intern at Calvary Baptist Church. He is finishing his studies at Doane Baptist Bible Institute, Inc..
Lizza is an accomplished educator, teaching at Doane Baptist Academy for 10 years and serving as the school principal for the last 5 years.
Their home church, Doane Baptist Church, helped their love for the Lord and discovered their passion for discipleship and christian youth ministries.
