Calvary Baptist has around 50 people attend the morning service. Thankfully, all ages are represented in this number. Although many like to have a large church there are many benefits in having a small congregation. You are less likely to fall through the cracks and go unnoticed and it is much easier to know the entire church and form meaningful friendships. Even though we would happily accept having a larger church if this is God’s Will, we are very happy to take full advantage of having a small church where we can feel like a family.
Everyone is welcome at Calvary Baptist Church. While some who attend like to dress in a more formal way, most wear smart casual clothing. There is no formal dress code for church services, we only ask that all dress in a modest way that is fitting to worship the Lord God of Heaven.
Our music is conservative and traditional, and we sing hymns and conservative songs as part of our worship services. We believe that Christian music, like every other part of the Christian life, needs to be distinct from the world.

No, although it is a benefit. We use the King James Version of the Bible in all our services and ministries because of its accuracy. We usually display the Bible verses we are using during the preaching time on the big screen so people can read along if you don’t have a Bible, so don’t let not having a Bible hinder you from attending. Also, feel free to ask for a Bible if you don’t have one and we will happily supply you with one to use and keep if you wish, as a gift from us.
