From the Secretary's Desk:
Our mission statement: "That in all things He might have the preeminence(Col 1:18). Our aim is to glorify God in the world, and exalt our Lord Jesus Christ, conforming to the biblical pattern of a New Testament church in doctrine and practice:
(1) We will meet faithfully on the Lord's Day for public, corporate worship and fellowship, as a testimony to the resurrection and the present Lordship of Christ over the church(cf: Jn 4:23-24; Acts 2:46-47; 20:7; Eph 1:9-10, 22-23; Heb 10:25). We shall also avail ourselves of the high privilege and responsibility of prayer in our corporate meetings together, and in our family and private devotions(cf: Mt 6:6ff; Eph 6:18; I Thes 5:17; I Tim 2:1-3).
(2) We will endeavour to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, and encourage one another to "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus(cf: Phil 3:14; Col 2:6-7; I Pet 2:2; Acts 20:32; Eph 4:7-13; I Cor 14:12, 26b; Rom 14:19).
(3) We will comply with our Lord's command that we should be His witnesses and that we should make the Gospel known throughout the whole world(cf: Acts 1:8; Mt 28:18-20; Mk 16:15; Lk 24:44-48). Accepting the Word of God as our sole authority in matters of faith and practice, we shall be self-governing, self-propagating, and self-supporting.
